Founded in 2015 to turn Sri Lankan coconut husk into export-grade product
Go Green Exports (Pvt) Ltd was established in 2015 with a clear purpose: to transform Sri Lanka's natural coconut resources into high-quality, environmentally responsible products for customers around the world.
From the beginning the company was built on quality, reliability, innovation and long-term customer relationships rather than on opportunistic trading. Under the leadership of Managing Director Mr. Chameel Samaranayake, Go Green Exports developed from early export operations into a diversified coir-based solutions manufacturer — investing in people and production capability, holding consistent quality, and continually looking for better and more sustainable ways of working.
As the company grew, so did its portfolio: coco peat substrates, coco chips, coir fibre, grow bags, coir pots, coir poles, geotextiles, coconut shell charcoal, BBQ briquettes, horse bedding and other value-added coconut-based solutions.
A significant step came in 2022 with the establishment of Premium Coco Substrates (Pvt) Ltd, strengthening manufacturing capacity and supporting continued expansion of export operations.
